A large early 20th Century Cantagalli pedestal basket vase decorated in the Renaissance style with cherubs, stylised birds and grotesque griffin in tones of green with copper lustre detailing against a blue ground, the handle formed as a fish with its head leaning upon a male torso with wings, bears paper label stating 'The gift of her Majesty Queen Victoria to Susan, Duchess of Roxburghe', the cockerel beneath the label, height 51cm
