A large 1920s Chinoiserie piano shawl profusely embroidered to the central square with scenes to include women sat before pagoda and temple buildings, ladies riding various animals including pigs, water buffalo and elephants, long tailed exotic birds and stylised trees, all to a black satin ground with a deep fringed edge, approximately 152cm x 152cm (excluding the fringe)
