A large 1930s Thomas Webb & Sons Cameo Fleur vase, the wide circular foot rising to a knopped stem with brass collar below a shouldered over body, cased in deep amethyst over clear and acid cut with a repeat stylised lily pattern, cameo signature to the lower body, height 36 cm. N.B - Having seen this piece Mr Stan Eveson, former employee of Thomas Webb & Sons, believed this piece to be an early prototype of the range. Noting the brass collar he commented that this was not a standard shape but possibly a special commission or trial piece.
