An early 20th Century Chinese carved hardwood writing table, the top with a plain central panel bordered by stylised dragons and bats within a repeat pattern border above two short drawers on a folding stand, width 77cm, S/D. The table was formerly the property of the late Miss Daisy Alcock ATD.ARCA.FRSA.NRD who was a caligraphist, a friend of the Queen mother and she used to live in London near the Chinese Embassy where the desk was acquired from. Sold with relevant paper work.
