A late 18th to early 19th Century oval micromoasic miniature portrait pendant depicting the Madonna in fine tessare wearing a pearl edged veil covering her brown hair falling to her shoulders, gold lined blue cloak over a red gown highlighted by gold thread, her eyes turned down with a halo above, all against a graduated black ground, collar set to a low grade silver mount studded with eight coral cabochons, stamped to the reverse of the closed back setting, length 5.5cm.
