A 1910s William Moorcroft 'lost shape 372' vase of mallet form glazed in a ruby and ochre lustre, impressed mark, retains H.M Queen Mary paper label, height 14.5cm This vase was likely made at the Sandbach Road Factory, circa 1916. Hugh Edwards notes the discovery of ''an old fashioned bottle'' at Oglethorpe Antiques in Georgia USA in his book Moorcroft: A New Dawn by Fraser Street ''In more than 30 years of devoted pot hunting, he had never seen that particular shape before'', see pages 77 to 79.
