Fieldings Auctioneers selected to host Autumn ‘Doves for Peace’ auction in conjunction with UNICEF

Fieldings auctioneers are delighted to have been chosen by the ‘Doves for Peace’ charity to host their auction to raise funds for UNICEF.

Doves for Peace' was established in 1999 by Dorothy Claxton in response to the plight of innocent children caught up in violent conflicts and fleeing from war torn countries around the world. The concept was to invite High profile personalities to make a spontaneous drawing of a dove, with the intention of selling them at auction. Skip forward 20 years and the wonderful work Dorothy has put in to this project will come to fruition, with the help of Heather Anderson and Beth Hiscock. With over 200 drawings and sculptures to go up for auction on Thursday 17th October at 7pm.  Fieldings will be hosting the private invite only preview before hand from 5pm-7pm, please contact us for tickets.

Notable names include: David Bowie, Teresa May, Stephen Fry, Benedict Cumberbatch, Andy Murray, Earl Spencer, Hilary Mantel, Sir Stirling Moss, Barbara Rae RA , Sir Bob Geldof , Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Robert Plant, Antony Gormley, Terry Waite, Bryan Ferry, Andrew Lincoln, Joanna Lumley and Jamiroquai.
