Our September  2- day auction, including 'Back to the Future' comprises close to 1200 lots of ceramics, furniture, jewellery, paintings, diecast models, teddy bears, vinyl records, music memorabilia, watches and much more to be auctioned on 17th and 18th Septmber.

Fieldings staff pick their favourite lots from this month's offerings

 

Andy (Furniture Specialist) picks lot 36 - A Gibson ES-335 electric guitar, circa 1968-72, estimate £1,500-2,000.

Andy says,

'This is such an iconic guitar, made by one of the finest of makers'

Rachel (Asian Art specialist) picks lot 756A very large Chinese Wucai glazed 'Butter lamp' stem bowl, estimate £4,000-6,000.

Rachel says, 

'This is a wonderful example of Wucai glazing on Chinese porcelain and I have never seen a stem bowl of this proportion, it is a very impressive piece, with lovely provenance having been purchased in the 1990s from a House Sale in North Yorkshire'

Will (Director) picks lot 91 - A Star Wars Return of the Jedi (1983) US Advance one sheet film poster, estimate £200-300

Will says,

'This takes me back to being 10 years old, such an iconic image and one of my all time favourite films, I absolutely love this poster'

Kayleigh (Toy specialist) picks lot lot 183 - An early 20th Century Steiff cow or ox on wheels, Article No. 1322, circa 1910, estimate £80-120

Kayleigh says,

'This is a great example of an early Steiff animal, I just think this little cow is so charming'
