Albert Wainwright : The Unseen Archive

At Fieldings it is our great pleasure to have been entrusted with selling the archive of works by artist Albert Wainwright which has been consigned by Wainwright's life partner's family.   In recent years there has been an ever-growing awareness and appreciation of his work with auction prices rising steadily and his work featuring in publications, online blogs and one man shows.  With this in mind the aim of this exhibition is to reveal and celebrate Wainwright as a prolific artist of powerful inventiveness and ability.

This exhibition has been curated by Fieldings' Harriet Moore who has immersed herself in the work of Wainwright in the last few years.
