Today an incredibly rare example of Palitoy Action Man figures, The Action Judo set was unpopular with retailers and was rarely stocked back in the 1970s,  Kids would  favour a soldier or an astronaut, but today a very sought after set. 

This Action Man figure is even rarer as he is complete, and has all his grading belts and orginal Judogi.  This particular figure was re-released for it's 40th Anniversary in 2006, however this the original 1970 version.

The quintessentially British action hero, was often seen in other sporting guises such as cricketer and footballer, and lasted longer than his American counterpart as he was versatile and adaptile to other professions and pursuits.
