The funny little birds do it again !
In recent years we have sold nearly fifteen of these wonderful little 'Pulcino' hand blown glass birds, with slender copper legs and Murrine eyes .
Designed in the early 1960s by Alessandro Pianon for Vistosi Murano, these little birds can't help but make you smile. There are five various examples, four of which we have offered on several occassions, however the final 'Mother Hen' we are yet to sell.
Prices for these birds have rapidly increased in the last 10 years and at Fieldings we have achieved the highest prices ever achieved at auction for these wonderful works of art.
