An early 20th century mahogany paint box for illumination by Windsor & Newton London, the divisioned interior fitted with jars of powdered colour Vermilion, Alizarim Crim, French blue etc, width 30cm and four volumes by W J Loftie titled lessons in the art of Illuminating. (5)
Condition report
There is a small old crack to the lid of the box, the interior is very good and shows little use.
There are four parts with Part I -IV for the volumes
