Lot 922: Estimate £80-£120
An oak side chair with triple fielded panel back over a woven leather strapwork seat and octagonal faceted baluster front legs, unmarked but attributed to Brian Shields (Pupil of Robert 'Mouseman' Thompson), S/D.
Condition report
There are some replaced leather straps to the seat. Some other damage to leather strapwork. There is a split through the bottom of one of rear legs that extends 9cm up the leg. Otherwise the chair appears structurally sound. There is a natural imperfection in a knot in the wood to the top corner of the back panel.
