A late 19th Italianate Renaissance style carved walnut hall settle, the scroll and lozenge panel back below a pediment mounted with a pair of winged griffins, over an inverted boxed seat flanked by conforming arms above a similar scroll lion mask panel, on scroll feet, height 157cm x depth 57cm x width 158cm.
Condition report
Good colour , no major losses but there is a heat or stress crack to the seat above the left arm.
