A Victorian gilt framed overmantel mirror of arched form, with an acanthus pediment over stiff leaf borders, height 141cm and width 130cm.
Condition report
There are no major sections of loss to the gesso mouldings. There is some rubbing and wear to the gilded finish. The mirror glass appears to be original, as does the back board. Stamped 'John Cavit, Cabinet Maker and Upholsterer, Northampton' to the backboard. The mirror glass has a lightly foxed appearance all over. The mirror glass measures 122cm high x 98cm wide.
