A small collection of assorted Victorian and later sewing related items comprising a mother of pearl and brass cotton reel with engraved floral decoration to the top, two mother of pearl spools, both carved as flowers, one set with turquoise cabochons, the other with a wax centre, a pair of folding scissors with mother of pearl handles, inset with nail files, a pair of German needlework scissors with Gothic handles in a green leather case, a pair of steel scissors missing the decoration to the handles and a needle wallet, the folded red tooled leather opening to reveal two blue silk panels with fittings for needles sized 5 to 10 to one side (with packets of Chambers's Diamond Silver Eyed Needles in several pockets), the other with long bodkins, the tooled leather with embossed and gilt foliate detailing surrounding a petit point floral cartouche, stamped BB & Co, 18.5cm x 5cm.
