A George III cross-banded walnut chest on chest, with a cornice pediment above an arrangement of nine drawers above bracket feet, some later repairs and losses, height 168cm, width 103cm and depth 52cm, S/D.

Condition report
The cornice has been later reconstructed. Some losses of sections of the veneer in places. Some repaired veneer sections as well. There is a chip out of the top right hand drawer and some other sections of cross-banding missing from the drawer fronts. There is some warping to the drawers fronts and blistering of the veneer to the same. The handles have been replaced. Splitting to the sides of the chest and woodworm flight holes evident as well, especially to the sides.
