A set of eight 19th Century mahogany rail back chairs, with pierced splats above over-stuffed seats and with turned and reeded front legs, comprising seven standard chairs and a single carver, later repairs. (8)
Condition report
The chairs have been comprehensively restored. There are a number of old breaks that have been repaired. The carver chair has an open break to the rear of the left arm that is currently fastened together with a cable tie. re-upholstered and polished although there are scuffs and scratches to the frames.
