A 19th Century mahogany chiffonier secretaire or bonheur du jour, the upright section with a shallow gallery over two frieze drawers and the fold-over writing surface, with integral inkwell aperture and pen tray, with a further frieze drawer below and a double door cupboard, raised to square tapered legs, height 126cm, width 85cm and depth 46cm, S/D.

Condition report
There is a 15cm horizontal split to eh back panel of the upright section. The joints to the upright section are loose. has been restored and repolished at some point and the handles have been replaced. There is no lock on the cabinet door. The inkwells are missing from the fitted aperture in the writing surface and, on the opposite side, the pen tray has some ink stains to it. Later green baize writing surface. There is a corner section of the fold over top that has been repaired. The back boards of the base section are split.
