A Victorian carved oak bible box, detailed with oak leaves, acorns, fruiting vines and strawberries, dated 1866, containing thirty three books of the Holy Bible, printed for The British and Foreign Bible Society by G.E, Eyre and W. Spottiswoode 1864, the box measuring 17cm, width 27cm and depth 20cm, S/D.

Condition report
Box - Has been later stained and polished. There is a tiny chip to the rear right hand corner of the bottom right right corner. There is a key to the box but it is in-operative. Books - There is some mildew to the covers of the books and some wear to the edges of the covers in places. The pages of the books are generally Ok, although there are some pencil marks to the margins in places.
