A late 19th to early 20th century painted gilt French display cabinet enclosed by a serpentine glass door and side panel flanked by a cupboard door decorated with a lady and her suitor in Elizabethan dress, on slender cabriole legs terminating in scroll feet, height 188cm x depth 44cm x width 80cm, S/D

Condition report
Amended condition report - There is a horizontal split through the right hand side of the acanthus scroll pediment. There is a chunk missing of the moulded gesso to the rear of the pediment. There are two vertical splits to the upper section of the alcove that are split straight through and then another hairline crack to the left hand side of these. There is a break just above the apron around the bottom right hand corner of the painted panel door. Some minor chips, scuffs and scratches to the painted panels and the gilded borders. The glazed panels are Ok. There is a key.
