A George III mahogany occasional table with bird cage action to the pedestal, the top with a moulded edge over a wrythen-turned pedestal and tripod base, height and diameter 75cm, later repairs and alterations, A/F.
Condition report
The top has been replaced and has itself been altered, with a repair to a split right across the top 9cm in from the edge. There is a replacement catch and block to the underside of the top. There is a replaced spindle to the 'bird cage' and the other three spindles have been glue repaired. Some old woodworm flight holes to the block. The tip section of the pedestal has been replaced.
