A late 19th Century plate decorated with a hand painted winged male nude holding a trumpet against a moon and stars to a blue ground, impressed Salopian (Salopian Art Pottery) to the reverse alongside painted J.G.J Nov 1884, diameter 25.5cm.
Condition report
The mark has glaze blistering which partically covers them. There are no chips, cracks or restoration. The reverse is quite heavily crazed.
