A 19th Century tortoiseshell and silver card case opening to a concertina blue silk and card interior, length 10.5cm, with a similar example decorated with inlaid mother of pearl, length 10cm, S/D. (2) Subject to CITES regulations. Due to the tortoiseshell element of this lot, it will require a re-export permit if shipped outside the mainland UK.

Condition report
First example has a slight smile to one end when closed and wear to the back, the other is cracked just below the hinge and some silver stringing is missing Subject to CITES regulations. Due to the tortoiseshell element of this lot, it will require a re-export permit if shipped outside the mainland UK.
