An Art Deco French burr walnut veneered double bed by Georges & Gaston Guerin, with an arched head and foot board raised to sledge type feet and with a stepped integral demi-lune drawer and shelf to each side, with indistinct hand-written signature to the underside of one of the drawers, refurbished with replacement folding bed base, width across the headboard 209cm and length 200cm.
Condition report
Has been re-furbished and repolished. Some filled repairs to the veneer in places. The bed base has been professionally tailor made as a replacement.
There are slot holes and fixing holes noted to the headboard.
Dimensions of the base for the mattress are width 139.5cm x length 191cm
