Lot 1329: Sold for £360 hammer

Estimate £100-£150

A 19th Century oak occasional flower or wine table in the manner of Gillows, the top of rectangular cartouche outline with carved scroll borders above a turned and reeded pedestal support and an acanthus carved tripod base, height 71cm, width 45cm and depth 37cm, S/D.

Condition report
The table has been repaired. There are some small chips to the edge of the top and also some scratches and fading. The top has been split straight across at some point, presumably the result of the table being knocked over and this split has been glued. There is a replacement oak rectangular block between the underside of the table top and the pedestal. There is a 7cm split to the collar of the top of the pedestal that has been filled. Some scuffs and scratches to the base.
