An early 18th Century crossbanded and feather banded walnut bureau bookcase, the shelf and drawer interior enclosed by a pair of shaped recessed quarter panel moulded edge doors below a cornice over two pull out candle slides above an interior fitted with eight drawers centred by a cupboard enclosed by a geometric inlaid fall, over a two sectional base of two short and three long cock beaded drawers, later brass fret drop handles and bracket feet, height 227cm x depth 39cm x width 97.5cm.

Condition report
Good colour that with improve with attention. Some small area of cracking to the left hand top of the fall. Some old patches but this may be the matching of the timbers please make your own assumptions. Some veneer loss to the bracket feet. The base is in two sections probably cut in our opinion for ease transportation , the sides are an identical match of veneer but the back boards do not match
