A pair of 1930s Myott book ends in the form of seated chimpanzees with enamelled decoration, raised to a banded base, printed marks, height 16cm.
Condition report
9cm wide. Both crazed although the crazing to the left monkey is heavier and in some places stained / darker so appears as hairlines. Both have been weighted with sand and plugged with a filler. Both with paint flaking, although the right monkey has more flaking than the left.
