A late 19th to early 20th Century mahogany secretaire bookcase enclosed by a pair of bar glazed doors below a dentil fluted cornice flanked by projecting carved pilasters over a deep drawer with pigeon hole and drawer interior above a cupboard base, on bracket plinth, height 216cm x depth 53cm x width 124cm, S/D Please note that subject to CITES regulations, as the drawer handles to the interior of the secretaire drawer are ivory, this lot will require a re-export permit if shipped outside the mainland UK.

Condition report
There are no side splits. The glazing to the upper doors is OK. Has been in storage and both the upper doors and the double doors to the base are locked and there are no keys. The secretaire drawer does open and the leather to the drawer is split. The two inkwells are present but are missing their covers. Please note that subject to CITES regulations, as the drawer handles to the interior of the secretaire drawer are ivory, this lot will require a re-export permit if shipped outside the mainland UK.
