A cut ink Charles Darwin signature within an an album containing fifty nine photographs taken at Gomshall Lodge, Surrey, including two images of Darwin with Dr. Edward Capron in the grounds of the Lodge and further photos of Abinger, Shere and surrounding villages, the frontispiece inscribed 'In memory of 'Auld Lang Syne' and with best wishes for the new year to Mr. and Mrs. John Evershed from Raphael Meldola, 1889 - 90'.
