An early 19th Century mahogany apothecary chest, the double hinged front opening to reveal a crossbanded and drawer interior fitted with an arrangement of labelled bottles containing medicine and cures, the reverse of the chest with four large jars labelled Liquorice Powder, Gregory-s Powder, Tartaric acid etc, concealed by a sliding panel door, the case fitted with a brass carrying handle, on a plinth base, height 30cm x width 26cm.

Case work - colour is good and no cracks, piece of veneer missing to the Appears complete , possibly some internal tools missing
