A 20th Century French gilt metal mounted veined marble clock garniture, eight day striking movement, on beaded oval base, the movement indistinctly stamped F. Marti and numbered 799, height 50cm. (3)
Condition report
Please make yourselves assured of the age before bidding. With pendulum but no key. The movement is very clean and appears to be indistinctly stamped F. Marti and numbered 799. The movement has not been seen running and is therefore sold 'as seen'. There are some minor 'nibbles' around the winding holes. Otherwise condition of the marble and gilt metal mounts is good.
