A large collection of late 19th to early 20th Century Coalport Batwing pattern 2665 tea wares comprising one oval plate, two square cake plates, two 20cm plates, twelve 18cm plates, nine 15cm plates, nineteen 14cm shallow saucers, three 13cm saucers, six coffee cups, twelve teacups, a milk jug, a sugar bowl, a lemon (or slop) bowl and a muffin dish and cover, all with printed marks. The oval plate has a hairline to the underside One of the square plates has hairlines One of the 18cm plates has a hairline One of the 14cm shallow saucers has a hairline One of the 13cm saucers has a hairline Four of the teacups have hairlines. All pieces have crazing and some rubbing to the decoration. Most pieces show signs of use with interior staining.
