An early 20th Century stained beech tilt and swivel desk or office chair, with a lath back over a rexine upholstered seat and four splayed legs with applied castors, bears label for 'George D. Pooley, Office Furniture, 4 Great Queen Street, Kingsway, W.C.2', S/D.
Condition report
The chair is looking a little tired and would benefit from a polish. There is a split in the rear of the back rail and the joints are opening slightly to the rear of the seat. The condition of the upholstery and seat webbing is OK. Two of the castors have beeen replaced.
