A late 19th to early 20th Century carriage clock, the eight-day movement with platform escapement, probably French, in a polished brass and bevelled glass panelled case, height including carry handle is 18cm and width is 9.5cm, complete with outer travel case and winding key, S/D.

Condition report
Movement runs but is not sold in working order and is sold as seen. The dial is clean and tidy. The bottom bevel edge of the back door is peppered with chips along it as well as to the corners of the same panel. Other glazed panels are OK. The movement is not stamped / named. The outer travel case is in a tired condition with the straps and push button missing. There is also some leather missing and numerous scuffs and scratches. As mentioned, the winding key is present.
