Estimate £150-£200

An early 20th Century walnut mantel or bracket clock of stepped arched form, with gilt metal urn shaped finial above caryatid scroll pilaster mounts and acanthus scroll feet, with a silvered dial with matted centre and Roman numeral chapters, the Lenzkirch eight-day movement striking on the quarter hour on a gong, height 54cm, width 28cm and depth 19cm, S/D.

Condition report
Pendulum is present. There is a split to the case just above the dial and some old woodworm flight holes below the glass panel. Some old splitting to the veneer of the top has been filled and polished. The dial is discoloured and showing some wear. The movement is striking an hour too slow. There is a chip out of the case below the dial.
