A 19th Century ambrotype of a seated gentleman wearing a black suit, in a fitted ebonite case embossed with a mother and child, and a similar photograph of a gentleman wearing a watch chain contained in a fitted case embossed with a couple playing chess, 8.5cm x 9.5cm.

Photographs - One of the images is cracked and verdigris spot marks to the gilt internal frames
