Two late 18th to early 19th Century Bilston type oval pill or patch boxes, the first with the motto 'Who Opens this Must have a Kiss [sic]' framing hand painted flowers with love birds, the base in pale blue, length 4cm, the second with the motto 'A Trifle from BlackPool' [sic], the base in green, length 4cm, both with mirrors to the inside of the lids, both S/D, together with a 19th Century enamel snuff box, probably continental, with burnt orange and blue foliate decoration against the white ground, painted R to the base, length 7.5cm. Condition report
Who Opens this ... various cracks across the top, old restoration to the base which is peeling and has discoloured to the interior. A trifle from Blackpool - has various cracks and lines to the front. The base has a star crack. There are scuffs and scratching to the cover and base. The interior is pitted and has glue marks
