A 19th Century Roman micro mosaic oval panel depicting Pliny's Doves, width 40mm, height 32mm, within a 15ct mount and set to a canted rectangular black slate base, width 78mm.
Condition report
Mosaic: all in good condition with no missing tiles, bruising of chips.
Base: Generally good there is a tiny chip to one of the upper edges otherwise all good with no further chips or cracks.
