Lot 1163: Sold for £210 hammer

Estimate £80-£120

A 19th Century mahogany linen press cupboard, the cornice above double doors and an arrangement of two short and two long cock-beaded drawers, all over a plinth base, height 212cm, width 150cm and depth 62cm, S/D.

Condition report
The upper double door section has at some point been cut in to two sections, presumably for ease of removal. It was originally in two sections fitted with shallow trays / drawers. Only one of these drawers remains and hanging rails are now fitted. One of the central vertical panels has been replaced with a plain panel. The backboard to the upper section is present but was removed for transportation. There is some damage to the cock-beading around the edges of the drawer fronts. One of the handles has been cracked and glued and another is slightly chipped. There are no side splits. Some scratches in places. There is a key present.
