A 1930s Burleigh Ware jug titled The Village Blacksmith 'Under a spreading Chestnut tree the village smithy stands', printed mark, height 22cm, together with a Sylvac vase decorated with incised pegasus, a Carlton Ware motto mug 'There are several reasons for drinking and one has just entered my head, if a man can't drink when he's living, how the H! can he drink when he's dead-', printed script mark, height 9.5cm, S/D, and a Crown Devon 'Cherry Tree' vase with painted marks, height 19cm. Condition report
There are a couple of slither chips to the foot rim and some patch staining that runs into the body. Sylvac and Burleigh Ware are crazed.
