A late 19th Century French walnut and marquetry inlaid jardinière or planter of rectangular form, with decorative gilt metal gallery and mounts and raised to cabriole legs, complete with metal liner but lacking lift-off cover, height 79cm, width 69cm and depth 46cm, S/D.

Condition report
The gilt metal mount to one of the feet is detached but is present. There are some small sections of veneer that are missing around the apron / legs. As mentioned in the description, there is no lift-off cover.
