An early 19th Century Sherratt or Walton type bocage figural group titled 'Village group' modelled as musicians sat beside a tree, he playing a bagpipe, she the triangle, unmarked, height 20cm, together with 19th Century Staffordshire pearlware figures, one playing a musical instrument, the other looking at a tree branch, both unmarked, tallest 17cm, S/D and restoration. (3)

Condition report
Village Group - nibbles and losses to the flowers and leaves. Stray patches of paint. Musician - has restoration to the face, neck and back with visible glue runs and over painting. Figure stood at a nest - breaks to the branches behind, paint losses and missing the flower to his right foot. All have paint scuffs and nibble losses.
