A 19th Century Spode spill vase decorated with hand painted floral sprays against a dark blue ground with a gilt fish scale pattern and mon motif, painted mark, height 11cm, S/D, together with a Spode combined dip pen and inkwell decorated with a band of flowers against a gilt ground, height 7cm. (2)
Condition report
The vase has an old repair to the rim which is starting to deteriorate. Both piece have rubbing to the gilding, quite considerably in some places.
