Two 19th Century Meissen figurines from the Monkey band (affankapelle) comprising a female monkey holding sheet music and a male monkey playing the flute, both with underglaze cross swords alongside incised and impressed numbers, tallest 14cm, both S/D and restored.

Condition report
She - has a restored hand, a chipped toe and a broken and restored hand (which has now come away). Various firing cracks to the reverse, occuring from production. She is impressed 147 and incised 813 (I think). He - restored hands and restoration to the flute, his cuffs have restored. He's impressed 116 and incised 117 (I think)
