A vintage childrens teaset comprising teapot, milk jug, sugar bowl, five cups, five saucers and six side plates each with floral decoration, each stamped Foreign so likely Japanese circa 1930, housed in a later fitted wooden box with an aluminium set of butter knives, tea strainer, spoons and ladle, S/D.
Condition report
Crudely made (both the teaset and the box). Rubbing to the lustre, old break and repair to the spout of the teapot. Various nibbles to the saucers and side plates.
