A mid 19th Century 9ct oval memorial brooch with central oval hair panel within gilt In Memory Of picked out of black enamel and conforming decoration to scroll border, weight 46.5g, length 6.5cm, engraved to reverse My Husband died 22nd July 1855, S/D.
Condition report
Hair panel a little loose in the mount, some enamel losses to the scroll work.
