Lot 1035: Sold for £45 hammer

Estimate £50-£80

A 19th Century mahogany tilt-top supper table of rectangular form, raised to a turned pedestal over four outswept legs with applied brass toes and castors, height 70cm and width 130cm, together with five harlequin mahogany framed dining chairs to include two carvers and three standard chairs, each reupholstered in striped fabric, S/D. (6)

Condition report
Table - plank separation to the top and scuffs, scratches and ring marks commensurate with age and use. The chairs are a harlequin mix - one of the carvers matches one of the standard chairs, but the rest are all odd. They have been restored and re-upholstered at some point. There are no breaks to the legs but there are repairs to old breaks to the backs of both of the carver chairs.
