An early 20th Century cedar wood portrait plaque or panel of rectangular form, carved in shallow relief depicting a female figure in profile wearing renaissance style costume, height 19.5cm and width 13.5cm, S/D.

Condition report
There is a 4.5cm split across the front of the plaque that does in part run right through to the back. There is a 1.5cm vertical split to the bottom edge that again runs right through to the back. On a later brass hanging hook to the back. There is an (incorrect) pencil annotation to the reverse stating that it is carved by Doubleday, architect of the Victoria Law Courts in Birmingham - this information is inaccurate.
