Lot 1004: Sold for £75 hammer

Estimate £150-£250

A pair of late 19th Century ebonised two seat settees on turned feet to the front below a spindle back and buttoned back cushioned seats, some damages, width 104cm. (2)

Condition report
The frames are scuffed and scratched in places. There is an odd woodworm hole in places. The upholstery is mildewed in some places. There are stained pink stripes to the seat upholstery - darker on one settee than the other. This does not appear to be a part of the pattern as it is not evenly spaced across the seats and around the edges. Therefore they are both likely to require re-upholstery. All of the porcelain castors are intact.
